Checklist of a Mama

Can't remember where I snagged this image from, but recovering it made me laugh - again! I guess we all kinda do this with a newborn (to an extent!), but seeing it all laid out like this just makes it look ridiculous!  Here's a glimpse into the oh-so-detailed checklist of a Mama...

Lemony Fresh!

I picked this up recently on a whim (not sure what I was actually out shopping for). I've been loving it! A simple, all natural, deliciously-fresh-smelling spray. Perfect for giving your baby's nursery/playroom a great signature scent. Spray in the room as an air freshener, toys, changing area, diaper pail, car seat, stroller etc. Made from pure essential oils, so it's easy on the little guys...(but don't spray it on them, obviously)! Also, you may want to check out the rest of Mrs. Meyers Clean Day products.

Thudguards

Got quite a kick out of this one, not really my thing - but hey, if they've got consumers, props for the innovation! I always thought this was conceptualized only in my mothers head after spending time with her new-to-walking grandchildren. After each (loud smacking) fall she'd say desperatley, "they must make a helmet for this stage!", but my sisters and I would just laugh. Sorry, ma... what do we know? : )

In the news: Ikea Leopard Recall

Ikea has issued a recall for the Leopard high chair merely two months after it was released! Apparently the high chair screws can come undone, sending the seat, and the child in it, free-falling through the chair base to the ground. Ikea has received 11 reports of these snap locks breaking before issuing the recall. Fortunately, there have been no injuries. They are asking all owners of the Leopard high chair to bring it back to any Ikea store for a full refund...

Got a Spare?

I usually only carry a spare onesie with me - in my handbag, the stroller, and the car. But i highly doubt I'm the only one who has been caught off guard without a spare change of clothes. From the rare diaper blowout, to a simple cookie-in-the-backseat disaster - a full wardrobe change is never too much for a mom to have on hand...

BabySpareWare makes it super easy to keep those extra get-ups in all the right places. They have created simplistic, top-quality cotton designs for babies and toddlers, zipped up in perfect little compact cases (with room for some diapers and wipes, to boot)! And these items on sale make it super affordable too!

(Great for Pre School cubbies, and a totally unique baby gift.)
