What clothes around, comes around.

Consignment store fans, rejoice! This new website will have you reveling in the exciting retail possibilities now available for your young ones. Eco-Fashion Rocks provides us with a venue to buy and sell children's clothing through the www. Send in gently worn clothing, and receive a bank account transfer for what they're worth - easy as pie! What a wonderful way to ease up on some of our storage space while spring cleaning, or rid ourselves of unworn babygifts etc. all while making an easy buck. Eco-fashion Rocks is also a super-cool place to spot a designer bargain such as this lovely Oilily dress ($23)! There's not much selection on the site right now (though it definitely looks up-and-coming!), but with some searching I came across some great designer pieces from Oilily, Petite Bateau etc. Totally the hottest novelty-retail concept since Ebay! : ) Happy scavenging!

Sweet Little Soles

The time has come (at long last!), and Freida's overdue gross-motor skills have been bumped up to par - my 17 month old is finally walking, folks. Here begins the quest for the perfect little "first pair". With the summer month's arrival, I can't help but look to something a bit more open and airy (not to mention novel!) than a Stride Rite. Here's a little roundup of my favorites so far:

1. Saltwater Sandals

The classic summertime sandal we wore to the beach as kids.

2.  Converse Glitter Chuck Taylors

Retro styled All Stars with some girly glam, easily slips on and off.

3. Tip Toey Joeys

Made from the softest leather to protect those rapidly growing baby bones.

4. PÉPÉ Biscottos

Like Birkenstocks for babies!

5. Baby Blochs

Bochs fabulously famous ballet shoes made for your mini ballerina.

6. Gucios

My favorite pair of modern first walkers, with plenty of support.

Play with Perfume

I'm always looking for scents to keep on the go: solids for the diaper bag, samples for my evening bags etc. You never know when you'll need a good freshening up, and a scent is one of the simplest ways to get that refreshed feeling. Re-apply some lipstick, add a spritz of fragrance - and you're good to go! I love this perfume-bubbles concept from Francis Kurdjian! Lightly perfumed, and simplistically packaged, these bubbles release a subtle fragrance when blown; offering some desperate entertainment during a toddler-meltdown-moment, while providing the drained mama with some fresh scented solace. And better  yet - these bubbles won't stain even your delicate fabrics!

In Cut Herbs, Cold Mint, and (my favorite) Pear. Available here.
