What a funky new take on the bunkbed/loftbed concept! I just love new designers, bringing us their fresh new twists on all the classics... This one was a contest proposal by young furniture designer Joe Luker. I wanted to share these wonderful images from the fantastic furniture designers at Laurette of France. Thought it would inspire the creative ability of space change through color... The space in these photos is exactly the same, yet the rooms are almost magically diverse. Oh, the joys of good interior decor! (These photos initially made me look because the charcoal bed goes shockingly well with our Sparrow crib. Hmmm...)
How adorable are these cups?? I mean, common, they are paper cups - they must be pretty great if they can bring me to call them adorable!
I think this is a fabulous idea for kids birthday parties, message-centerpieces, a great activity for new readers (brings cup-stacking to a whole new level!), planters forming a phrase on a buffet table, even as place-cards with each guests initial etc. The decor ideas are endless!
They are made in Korea (= almost impossible to get your hands on), apparently sold through I am design, but you're better off waiting - they are super popular and I have no doubt someone will be doing a US import very soon. Stay tuned.
Summer has arrived at Anthropologie! They're ringing in the season with vibrant hues of greens and blues - very Mediterranean-esque. I'm already feelin the sea spray.......
