I've previously mentioned being smitten by a dyed rope bracelet, but I've only now just discovered where you can actually get a hold of one, plus some of the designers other accessories - and they are screaming spring!

Apparently, the designer, Tanya Aguiñiga has been producing novelty furniture for a while now, and I've found a favorite in her felted line. Fantastic pieces given a warm and wooly go-over. I love the way she works with all these organic matters - woolen furniture and cotton rope jewelry have got to be some of the hottest mod-novelties out there at the moment...!
You can get her jewelry here, and you can also check out more goods on her website.

Well, it seems we here on the west coast finally get to see the sun this spring! Hopefully the winter is now behind us for good, and we can bid adieu to those dreadful rainclouds... (New Yorkers - don't judge! Everything is relative.) :)
I happened upon a charming little weather website that makes even the nastiest of forecasts seem sentimental. Functioning more like a dashboard app than a website, just type in your zipcode and smile at the forecast (there's no "smiling suns" or "angry rainclouds" at this joint!).
Check it here.
Here's a few more reasons to look forward to summer, via Melissa.

It's like an ice cream truck selection - but for tootsies! Yum!
One of our friends (Thanks Zarina!) recently gave Freida an itty-bitty guitar, and while she's now just old enough to appreciate the string variety, I would love to have happened upon this stuffed pillow version when she was just learning to stand and obsessed with the real guitars in the house. For now she's been having a blast practicing strumming and plucking at the acrylic 4 string guitar, but I'm secretly planning an intervention - I'd love to order some wooden Ukuleles for all of us to learn together this summer...

But back to the super-rad find - electric guitar pillows! How seriously rock 'n roll these would be strewn across the bed or couch in a boy's room, or residing lonely on a nursery rocking chair, or even claiming some space on the family room sofa! Soft and colorful, these stuffed guitar pillows are screaming for some soft-rock love songs...
