Why fix it if it isn't Baroque?

My husband and I have been getting lots of inquiries on reclaimed and refurbished items in our home for a while now... we keep finding more items we'd like to work on, but don't really have the space to keep them. We finally decided to move out some of our pieces and free up some space for some new productions. We put some beautiful mirrors up for sale on Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist, and I thought I'd share the offer here (for those of you readers who are local). We are selling two Baroque wooden framed mirrors:

The white mirror has great detail and is glossy white, measuring 28" x 34".

$200

The black mirror is a refurbished antique, featuring hand carved wooden detail gone dramatically modern in jet-black. It measures 35" x 53", and would be absolutely stunning in an entry way (it can be used vertically as a full-length mirror), or as a piece of art.

$450

Both pieces would do wonders for any space, bringing a hint of luxurious charm to its walls - entry way, dining room, over a breakfront, hallway, bedroom, or simply in leu of art.

(I didn't plan on shipping these, but you truly fall for one (or both) I'm sure we can work something out...)

Some Like it Hot

So much for fall in the sukkah; our temp. spiked past 100° this weekend! Good ol' Daddyfroo took Freida out for a Sunday at the shore - ironically, it was daddy-time at Mother's Beach... thanks again, love! (Don't you just love getting mobile video updates of your kids day-out?)

This heat is unbearable!!! While we swelter (and I can't even believe I'm posting a winter coat now!), I couldn't help but share this totally awesome boys jacket by Patagonia. Outerwear for little boys tends to be on the boring side of the fashion sense, but the graphics on this little number are so hip, and to boot, it is reversible when something calls for a more subtle look (say, shul?). Best part, it's on sale.

Patagonia Reversible Winter Jacket, $63.96

Take a Peek!

A friend of mine (thanks Briendy!!) introduced me to one of my new favorite childrens clothing stores - Peek... aren't you curious? is a fabulous little collection of both classic and hip childrens goods. Whoever does thier interior is seriously talented - the store is simple and chic with the perfect amount of charming little touches throughout the displays. They have the "peek" element subtly running through every aspect of the store; even their shopping bags and gift cards have a small cutout hole, enabling a sneak peek! They just launched their fantastic fall collection, and I'm smitten.

Their summer lines are all on serious clearance now - get fabulous threads for the price of your AM coffee! Check it out here.

My favorite thing about this company is their baby line Little Peanut - it's baby basics at their best, featuring pre-shrunk, pre-faded 100% cotton newborn essentials in vintage-style shades. This line makes for a perfect baby gift!! (That $12 tank quickly became my new go-to top for Freida.)

Here's a shot of Freida in her oh-so-sweet Olivia bloomer. Stike a pose. : )
