On the eve of back-to-school I thought I'd share a little roundup of some of my favorite toddler backpacks out there (there are SO many on the market it gets difficult to navigate your way through all that school-supplies-chaos!). Also, there's something to be said for toddler-sized packs. It really makes a difference when it comes to a kindergardener lugging around books, supplies, and lunch inside a way-too-big-for-them Dora the Explorer/Spiderman backpack they begged (and begged and begged!) for in the isles of Target. A small child should be wearing a small pack that fits them squarely on the shoulders and evenly distributes the weight of it's contents. You can read up a little bit on "Backpack Safety" on KidsHealth.org.

Being that I have gotten a nice amount of inquiries about the bag hanging out on my From the Desk of post, I thought I'd let you dear readers in on this: spotted a nice stash of über-cute signature Oilily printed diaper bags at some generously reduced rates over at Zulily today. If you're a fellow print-lover, head on over there before the goods sell out!
I've been milling over the pickings of the half-off sale at Stella McCartney Kids this morning. From the now-iconic culotte suit, to basics for girls, boys, and babes, this sale is sure brimming with it's share of goodies!! Shop happy, my friends!
At the final Mommy & Me meet of the season, Morah Chanie whipped out one of the most wish-listed toddler activities - a bouncy house. But not just any ol' rented bouncy house, this one came out of a simple lidded box - from a classroom closet!! Apparently Little Tykes makes a line of these inflatable party-on-the-spots - just plug it in and watch in pop up! What an incredible thing to have in your garage repertoire - takes play dates to the next level, and birthday parties are cake! You can check it out here.
