This beauty of a co-sleeper has been making its way through the blogsphere for a while now. The Culla Belly Co-Sleeper, designed by Manuela Busetti and Andrea Garuti of Studio di Progettazione, won first place at the Playing Design's International Design Competition for children's design (phew!) - simply put, it's the best looking/most convenient co-sleeper out there!. And the team designed these attachments to convert it into a rocking cradle, to boot!
Sadly, as far as I hear, there has been no news as to if this product will go into production for a round 2, let alone whether it will be available in the United States.
Enjoy the eye candy!! : )

Neytiri or Pandora may be next to appear in most popular baby names for 2010. Apparantly, movie fans are rushing to name their babies after characters in the sci-fi smash Avatar! Choices include Neytiri, Toruk, and Pandora as a favorite. Read about it here.
I stumbled upon this wonderful infant bath, and I so love the idea! Designed by PujBaby (pronounced Pudge), you may have heard of their PujShoes. This bathtub fits into any standard bathroom sink, and stores flat (you can hang it to dry), making infant bath time super easy. I don't know about you, but bathing my newborn was such an ordeal, I was always pushing it off... somehow I ended up totally drenched, my arms ached from trying to properly support my baby, and I had to use quite a few towels to make the baby comfortable and not slip 'n slide.

Beaba Babycook - is now at Williams Sonoma!! $149.95
For those of you unfamiliar with the Babycook, it's a product from France enabling you to make homemade baby food with minimal (and I mean minimal!) work. Steams (in 15 minutes max!) and purées fruit, veggies, fish, meat, and even grains in one dish!! Forget about dealing with pots of water, steaming baskets, strainers, and food processors... This machine leaves you with no excuses!! Take control of what your baby consumes - lose the jarred food preservatives, and produce nutritional meals for your little one. Nix that picky-eating habit right in the bud by giving your baby more menu options straight from the get-go...
(This and the Qubies, and you're totally set!)
My husband came back from working on a project a while ago, and brought home a hardly used, broken computer keyboard. He said the guys were recycling them at this office he was working with, and he said he'd take one home to reporpose as a toy for his daughter to play with. He unscrewed the wire slot, removed the wiring and screwed it back in place. I cloroxed the thing (office germs are the worst!), and Freida woke up to a usually totally tabooed toy! She was so excited that she was allowed to slam the keys by herself while I left her alone to explore. Of course, we all know that they do in fact know the difference --- and she still loves the special skype moments with Bubby whilst I let her bang on the real thing, but you'd be surprised at how happy she is when I set her up with her keyboard in her stroller/high chair next to her Daddy on the computer... total time killer! ; )
