Toadally Charming

Wanted to take a minute to introduce you all to a new boutique out of Israel. Shana and Toad is a chic and charming childrens boutique for boys, girls, and babes, and carries a slew of fashion-forward favorites from all across the spectrum. To be honest, I have never ordered from them before as they are relatively new on the market (and I've only just discovered them!), but I figure that in instances when I'm tempted to purchase from European sights (like Little Fashion Gallery etc.) I might as well buy from Shan and Toad and support an Israeli-owned small business. Board of Cheese

Looking for something fun and useful to gift a special friend this Chanukah? My Brooklyn Slate Co. cheese board just arrived last week (thank you Fab.com!!), and can't wait to put it to some party-hard use!! I couldn't even resist trying it out right after opening, and whipped out some soft cheese from the fridge to experiment the chalk use on the well-oiled slate. The effect was positively lovely, and it even brought about some Camembert taste-testing from my cheese-loving 3 year old!

(Long) Weekend Round-up!

Hope you all had a fabulous extended weekend and squeezed out the very last essential drops of summertime - just enough to get you through the year! :)

Labor Day always brings about mixed-emotional nostalgia for me. Sad to see summer go and just-happy-enough to head on straight into autumn. And with the Jewish month heralding a bitter-sweet end to the past 12 months and a brand spankin' new year just around the corner... the seasons turn and I'm ready - bring it!

Anyways, while I devise a plan to enhance my new year and create some tangible resolutions, here are a few things I've been meaning to share with you:
