Been thinking a lot about babies this week... I was in the hospital visiting my childhood girlfriend who was having a beautiful baby girl (mazel tov Rach!!), and now I can't stop thinking about those tiny little baby bodies! Ever heard of a Noonie? Just discovered this creation by Lala Pequeños- made from 100% cotton and produced entirely by hand in Virginia. I have to admit that I'm not quite sure what the point of the Noonie is exactly (aside from being an extra snuggley place), but I just can't stop looking at this photo (love the faux bois!) and imagining a sweet tiny baby cozied up in there after a warm little bath.... it's simply divine perfection! Hope I make it up to visit my friend and her new little family member tomorrow... dreaming of newborn baby toes... : )
Pesach on the mind means noticing things that may have otherwise skipped my radar : ) Just remembered this great set of plastic flatware! Another unique product from Kikkerland, this polycarbonate 12 piece set comes in white, pink, or this hottly chic black. Re-usable and dishwasher safe - this is the perfect pre-pesach purchase for those of you who plan on entertaining (or hosting pesach for the first time), but would rather not invest in a full new flatware set. You can throw it out (guiltfree) if it gets kind of gnarly, or you can can be super thrifty and stow away for your next holiday/entertaining venture! A great find to keep bookmarked for birthday parties, sheva brachos etc. Check it out!!
Happened upon this super-awesome article from Parenting Magazine; 30 DIY Birthday Cake Designs! Love these sort of findings, thank you people at Parenting for making life as a mom (with countless birthday party pressure on!) that much easier : ) Here's a few of my favorites...
(How adorably simplistic is that Lego cake?? They say to use a Jolly Rancher candy - but you can use half of a large sized marshmellow and cover it with the cake frosting!)
So admiring this new print from Seattle Show Posters. What a great little gimmick to brighten someone's day!
This is one of a few dry-erase related images I have browsed recently. Apparently this concept is becoming highly popular - and for good reason!
This one here can be a simple DIY, and you can interchange the sentence for anything else (I am thankful for..., My goal today is... etc). The basic idea is that anything framed with glass in front of it can work as a dry erase board. Genius!
